2008 Pharmacy Residents
Dr. Anna Metz was born and raised in Iowa City, IA. She attended Iowa State University where she became interested in pharmacy. After obtaining her prerequisites at Iowa State she attended pharmacy school at the University of Iowa and earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree in 2008. Her clinical interests include cardiology, pediatrics, and critical care. Upon completing her residency Anna plans to pursue a career as a clinical pharmacist and help implement programs to improve patient care.
Dr. Brenton Field was born and raised in northwest Missouri. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Missouri Western State University in 2000, and worked in pharmaceutical research and development until the fall of 2002 when he started pharmacy school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Brenton graduated from UMKC with his Doctorate in Pharmacy in 2007. His current interests are infectious disease, internal medicine, and pediatrics. After completing his residency training, Brenton plans to pursue a clinical pharmacist position and would like to eventually move into a managerial position.
