Essential tremor is more common than Parkinson's Disease and is often inherited. Shaking generally affects both hands and can interfere with daily activities. We offer management with medication and when appropriate, deep brain stimulation. Spasmodic dysphonia, an occasional accompanying disorder of the voice can be treated by botulinum toxin.
