For Referring Providers
Providers should complete all required information on MU Health Care "Referring Providers Online Access Form."
MU Health Care is strongly committed to ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies governing access to patient information and must uniquely identify each provider, and their support staff, who access their patients' electronic medical records. The National Provider Identifier (NPI) number has been established as the unique identifier and is required to obtain access to Referring Providers Online. Review and acceptance of the "Access and Confidentiality Agreement for Providers" is required before access can be granted to your patients' electronic medical records.
For security purposes, please do not include any patient-identifying information in your email correspondence. Fax and traditional mail are the preferred choices at this time.
