Movement Disorders
Movement Disorders represent a group of conditions in which there is diminished movement or the presence of abnormal involuntary movements. These movements might take the form of shaking (tremor), irregular movements, jerks or twitches. They can affect any part or all of a person's body and are generally caused by abnormal brain function.
We strive to help our patients regain control of their bodies by offering expert diagnostic services and a full range of treatment options, including medication, physiotherapy, speech therapy, deep brain stimulation and therapeutic botulinum toxin.
