The Missouri Radiology Imaging Center at University of Missouri Health Care has provided excellent care through high quality imaging since 2005. The center offers the latest imaging technology in MRI, CT, digital X-ray and ultrasound. The computed tomography system at MU Health Care's Missouri Radiology Imaging Center is a state-of-the-art, multi-slice scanner that uses advanced technology to acquire high-quality images. We use a technology called adaptive image filters to reduce radiation doses and obtain clear images of all patients, including children and large adults.
Physicians at the center also specialize in interventional radiology - minimally invasive, targeted treatments that are performed using imaging guidance. Interventional radiologists offer treatments for varicose veins and spider veins, and a variety of other interventional procedures. The center is accredited by the American College of Radiology for CT, MRI and ultrasound.
