Meet monthly to discuss patient education issues of broad concern, receive an update of materials, and review patient teaching records.

We provide a packet for development of patient teaching records and help with the development process.

Patient Education Index
The Patient Education Index lists all approved patient education materials via the Patient Education Website. Ordering capability is also available online for staff members.

Program Development
Our Patient Education Project Guide helps you through development and approval of a patient education material. It is a self-directed process that allows you to pace development to fit your timetable.

TIGR TV
Patient education TV channels broadcast educational videos throughout the hospital. Program guides are available. Please call with any feedback or questions about programming.

Patient Education Materials
Clinical & Patient Education Services provide educational materials free of charge to enhance patient teaching efforts. Use only approved materials when teaching patients. Please call if you need help finding a material or if you have questions. With lead time, we can provide materials on tape and in Braille.

Medication Information Sheets
We can provide you with information sheets on almost any medication. These are also available in Spanish.

Resources for Material
We also have many resource catalogs and sample materials available in 4E55 for your review.
