Medtique

Located in the main lobby of University Hospital, Medtique is a full-service gift shop that offers a variety of greeting cards, postage stamps, fresh flowers, plants, balloons, sundries, gift items and candy.

We know that a simple gift can brighten a hospitalized patient’s day. ’s why Medtique staff and volunteers are available to help you select the right gift for your loved one.

Preferred Customer Electronic Mailing List
We have just launched a Preferred Customer E-Mailing List for the Medtique Gift Shop! We will send out weekly notices of new merchandise, special sales and promotions, etc. By becoming a member of this list, you will have the benefit of being the first to hear about our specials, but you will have no obligation to purchase, and your e-mail address will not be given to anyone else. If you are interested in receiving these messages at your e-mail addresses, please send a message to Roberta Coats.

Order by phone! To place an order, simply call (573) 884-2550. Our staff members and volunteers can help you choose an appropriate gift for your loved one. After making your selection, you will be asked to provide your credit card information and the patient’s name. We gladly accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit cards.

Medtique hours
Monday - Friday,
8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday,
Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Service League Auxiliary Raffle
The Service League Auxiliary at University Hospital sponsors many fundraisers throughout the year. These events will be included in the "Preferred Customer e-mail list" as well as advertised in Medtique Gift Shop. All proceeds go toward patient initiatives. Gift Registry
We are pleased to offer Wedding and Baby Gift Registry, this tool is especially handy for our staff members! We can help customers select gifts from the registry, charge their purchase to their credit card, wrap it and make delivery arrangements!
