COLUMBIA, Mo. — Heart-care specialists from University of Missouri Health Care will offer free heart-healthy screenings from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at Macy’s, 201 N. Stadium Boulevard, Columbia, Mo.

Members of the MU heart-care team will offer body mass index measurements as well as blood-pressure and cholesterol screenings. An eight-hour fast is required to conduct a cholesterol screening and must be scheduled.

Health care professionals will also be available to answer questions and provide information about additional heart-related issues such as smoking cessation, heart-healthy nutrition and exercise.
