Pink Out 2011 to support breast cancer research at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Ellis Fischel Cancer Center is teaming up with the University of Missouri Women’s Gymnastics team at Pink Out 2011 to support Ellis Fischel’s breast cancer research and awareness program. The MU Tigers will compete against the Illinois Fighting Illini at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at the Hearnes Center.
MU gymnasts will wear pink leotards in honor of breast cancer awareness. The first 500 fans will receive free Pink Out 2011 T-shirts, and breast cancer survivors will be recognized at the meet.
Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for youth. For every ticket sold, $1 will go directly to Ellis Fischel’s breast cancer research program.
