COLUMBIA, Mo. — Ellis Fischel Cancer Center and Goldschmidt Cancer Center hosted a day of relaxation and rejuvenation for women with breast cancer from on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Goldschmidt Cancer Center, 1432 Southwest Blvd., Jefferson City.

Activities included humorous and inspirational presentations, light exercise, a nutritional seminar and a session on coping with stress strategies. Breakfast and lunch was provided.
“The event is designed to nurture the minds, bodies and spirits of women with breast cancer,” said Jeanette Linebaugh, R.N., M.S.N., O.C.N, manager of patient and family services at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. “We want to give women the tools to manage the stress from their cancer diagnosis and promote healing.”
