COLUMBIA, Mo. ― Maggie Van Loo, R.N., FNP-BC, a nurse practitioner in Ellis Fischel Cancer Center’s Cancer Screening Services, recently received certification as a MammaCare® Clinical Breast Examiner.

MammaCare® is the recognized standard for performing and teaching clinical breast examinations in breast cancer screening clinics. Certification ensures that the professional has met rigorous standards for proficient, skill-based breast examination. The courses are offered to nurses, physicians, radiologic technicians and health educators.
