IHOP's National Pancake Day To Benefit MU Children's Hospital
COLUMBIA, Mo. — University of Missouri Children’s Hospital and International House of Pancakes (IHOP) restaurants invite anyone with an appetite for free pancakes and supporting a good cause to the restaurant’s National Pancake Day celebration Tuesday, Feb 28.
The Columbia IHOP restaurant at 51 Conley Road will offer each guest one free short stack of buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Feb. 28. In return, IHOP invites guests to make a donation to Children’s Miracle Network/MU Children’s Hospital.
Representatives from Children’s Hospital, along with T.J., the official mascot of Children’s Hospital, will be at the restaurant that morning. All money raised at the Columbia IHOP will stay local and directly benefit patients at Children’s Hospital.
This marks the seventh year that IHOP has celebrated National Pancake Day. More than 1,500 IHOP restaurants nationwide will attempt to raise $2.7 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
