"Biggest Loser" Season Five Winner To Speak At Jesse Auditorium May 9
COLUMBIA, Mo. ― Ali Vincent, the fifth-season winner of the hit NBC reality show “The Biggest Loser,” will speak about losing weight and keeping it off at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Jesse Auditorium on the University of Missouri campus. The event is sponsored by University of Missouri Health Care as part of the health system’s HealthyU program.
“HealthyU is an MU Health Care initiative that combines both education and engagement to help people in our community better understand and implement fitness and nutrition into their lifestyles,” said Jim Ross, chief executive officer of MU Health Care. “HealthyU directly supports our mission of advancing the health of all Missourians.”
Vincent, who was the first female on the show to win, struggled with poor eating habits and low self-esteem for years. During her presentation, she will share her secrets for dropping pounds through an inner transformation of learning to believe in oneself. Vincent will be introduced by Jenn Walters, co-founder of the blog, “Fit Bottomed Girls.”
Tickets for the event are free and will be available until May 8 at the east entrance of the Mizzou Rec Center, at 213 Rothwell Gymnasium on the MU campus.
