IHOP'S Miracle Balloon Campaign, National Pancake Day To Benefit Children's Hospital
COLUMBIA, Mo. —IHOP restaurants are teaming up with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for their eighth annual Miracle Balloon Campaign to benefit MU Children’s Hospital.
IHOP’s Miracle Balloon Campaign began Jan. 1 and will run until Tuesday, Feb. 5. Guests visiting the Columbia IHOP restaurant at 51 Conley Road can purchase Miracle Balloons throughout the month for $1 or $5 each.
On Feb. 5, IHOP will host National Pancake Day. On National Pancake Day, IHOP will offer each guest one free short stack of buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. IHOP guests are encouraged to make a contribution to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
In addition to regular business hours on Feb. 5, IHOP will offer pancake short stacks during drive-through hours from 6 to 8 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. A minimum donation of $5 is required to receive pancakes during the special drive-through hours.
Representatives from Children’s Hospital, along with T.J., the official mascot of Children’s Hospital, will be at the restaurant on the morning of Feb. 5. All money raised at the Columbia IHOP will directly benefit patients at MU Children’s Hospital.
Children’s Hospital is the largest and most comprehensive pediatric health care center in mid-Missouri. Located within Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital is the only facility in mid-Missouri offering comprehensive, specialized children’s services such as neonatal transport, child life therapy, a pediatric intensive care unit and a pediatric hematology and oncology outpatient unit.
