Department of Medicine Woodrail Clinic
Internal Medicine - Pediatrics

The health care team at the General Internal Medicine and Pediatric Clinic at Woodrail specializes in offering comprehensive, expert care for the entire family. We offer access to physicians with a wide range of specialties including pediatrics, internal medicine, adult endocrinology and adult rheumatology.

Our pediatric practice is a part of our total patient-centered medical home; with everything we do focused on providing your family the most comprehensive medical care possible.

That means we're always actively involved in monitoring our patients' overall health. We'll provide everything from help with sports and school physicals to recommendations if your child has an earache or fever. And if your child has a chronic illness such as allergies, asthma or diabetes, we will provide care through routine monitoring of his/her lung functions, blood sugars and even weight gain or loss.

The good news for busy families is we can do many of these things for your child with a phone call or e-mail. That way we maintain an easy, continual flow of communication between you and your health care team. We'll know right away what your child needs and can quickly determine whether your child needs an office visit

And perhaps most importantly our health care team members, like all of the health care experts affiliated with Children's Hospital, realize children are not simply small adults. They are unique patients who have age-specific developmental needs. We believe it's crucial to have experienced pediatric physicians and nurses who can provide complete and specialized care as well as a child-friendly environment and bedside manner.
