Ellis Fischel Cancer Center's gastrointestinal cancer program serves as a regional treatment center for the diagnosis and treatment of all cancers of the digestive system. This facility has a team of medical, radiation and surgical oncologists with practice specialties in gastrointestinal cancers. Through screening, diagnosis, surgical intervention, staging, treatment and long term follow up, the interdisciplinary team of physicians and health care providers provide individualized treatment plans and comprehensive care as well as access to the most advanced treatments possible.
The specialized services at Ellis Fischel include participation in multiple institutional and national clinical trials for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers.
