Blood Cancers
Our blood cancer and disorders specialists, or hematologists, provide comprehensive cancer to patients with cancers of the blood or blood-forming tissues. These cancers are known as hematologic malignancies. At Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, patients receive the latest therapies, including investigational treatments, under the direction of national experts. A multidisciplinary team of specialists participate in all of our patients' care. This team includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, hematopathologists, infectious diseases specialists, in addition to dietitians and social workers. Patients and family members have access to support groups and educational programs, as well as other supportive care programs and services.
