Ellis Fischel Cancer Center is a proud member of University of Missouri Health System. Each year we serve thousands of people across Missouri through our comprehensive cancer prevention, detection and treatment services. Since we are a teaching center, we also provide training for future physicians, nurses, researchers and other health care professionals.

Caregivers at Ellis Fischel are dedicated to helping patients and families through their treatment. Our multidisciplinary team approach brings together a variety of experts to determine the best treatment plan and provides you important support services information. Many patients are treated with a combination of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. A wide range of rehabilitative and counseling services are available to help you and your family cope with the physical and emotional effects of cancer and related diseases.

Generally, outpatient care takes place at Ellis Fischel. Surgery, certain treatments and inpatient care take place at either University Hospital or Columbia Regional Hospital, both members of University of Missouri Health System.
