Ginn Mission Park
With your help, what started as a dream is now a reality. Ginn Mission Park is a unique outdoor mobility course with a variety of realistic challenges for patients.
Our mission is to help patients achieve maximum independence. Ginn Mission Park helps us achieve that mission. This attractive park, designed specifically for therapeutic purposes, contains a variety of inclines and surfaces similar to those patients may likely encounter when they return back to their home and community.
The park allows therapists to simulate real-life situations such as crossing the yard, going to the lake or walking down to the driveway to get the mail. Other functional use of the park includes cognitive exercises designed to improve memory, vision and problem solving abilities.
Patients, visitors and staff members enjoy the beauty and tranquility of this unique, special way we make our mission come alive. Taking rehab outside makes world of difference.
