Our Team


 

Irving Asher, MD, serves as the director of University Hospital's Movement Disorders Program. He is board certified in neurology and has spent more than 30 years specializing in movement disorders. He pursued research on brain monoamine systems and was introduced to clinical neurology and the field of movement disorders while attending Yale University School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree. He completed his neurology residency at UCLA School of Medicine.

 

 

 

   

Terry Rolan, MD, is board certified in neurology and specializes in balance disorders, movement disorders and tremors. Dr. Rolan went to medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed his residency at the University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.Terry Rolan, MD, is board certified in neurology and specializes in balance disorders, movement disorders and tremors. Thor Norregaard, MD, specializes in cerebrovascular surgery, chronic pain, movement disorders, spine surgery and stereotactic neurosurgery. He is board certified in neurological surgery. Dr. Norregaard went to medical school in Denmark. He completed residency training in neurology at University of Aarhus, Denmark and surgical and neurosurgical training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and the University of Illinois in Chicago.
