Kohl's Safety Products


Pediatric Injury Prevention & Safety Outreach Program works with community organizations such as the Voluntary Action Center to help identify families who are eligible for no-cost injury prevention essentials. The Kohl's Safety Store is funded by the gift from Kohl's Department Store specialty merchandise.

Are you eligible for Kohl's Safety Store products?

If you are interested in receiving Kohl's Safety Store products at no cost to you, please visit the Voluntary Action Center for eligibility screening. For the eligibility screening, you will need to provide the following:

  • Proof of residency
  • Your child's birth certificate
  • Guardian's personal identification
  • Proof of income

If you are eligible, Voluntary Action Center will provide a voucher that will be needed for your appointment at the Kohl's Safety Store.

Passenger Safety

This child restraint is designed for use by children whose weight is 5-40 pounds and height is 19-43 inches. Can be used as a rear or forward facing seat.    Child restraint designed for use by children whose weight is 22-80 pounds and height is 34-52 inches.    This child restraint is designed for use by children who weigh between 33-80 pounds and whose seated height places the midpoint of the head below the top of the auto seat's backrest or whose standing height is 60 inches or less.

Pedestrian/Bike Safety

The single most effective safety device available to reduce head injury and death from bicycle crashes is a helmet.     Reflective devices allow children to be seen by motorists, even in the dark.
