Pack Your Lunch

Have you ever felt fed up with food at the school cafeteria? Would you like to have better, healthier choices for lunch? Well here's a solution: pack your lunch. At first, you may think this'll be quite a pain to do. However, you'll soon find packing your lunch is well worth the small amount of extra time and planning. Here are several reasons for why packing your lunch is a good idea.

You decide what you eat.
You have total control over the taste and healthiness of your food. Instead of finding the same limited, unhealthy options, you can have the freedom to make a planned, good decision for yourself.

Try some new stuff!
Pick a larger variety of great-tasting foods. Instead of just sticking to pizza, nachos, cheeseburgers, etc. ask your mom for some of her amazing chicken casserole or world-famous chicken noodle soup. You can enjoy home-made classics such as these and, if feeling brave, even experiment with some of your own creations.

Charge up on energy!
If you have a bunch of after-school activities, such as sports, band, or work; bringing your own dishes gives you the ability to pick out a ton of nutritious, energy-giving meals full of carbohydrates and proteins. This type of food will be sure to keep you full of energy all day long.

Save money!
If you bring food along, you will not be inclined to waste cash on vending machines or on off-campus fast food locales. Instead, you can save up this money for your future.

Sentimental reasons!
Think about elementary school. Your parents would pack your Spider-Man lunchbox full of great classics such as peanut butter and jelly, chips, and ham and cheese sandwiches. Bring back the old days this year!

For all these reasons and more, it's always a great choice to pack your lunch!
