December 5 Clinical Research Compliance Orientation The University of Missouri School of Medicine’s Office of Compliance and Quality and MU Sinclair School of Nursing will host an orientation session, “Compliance and Quality Clinical Research Compliance Orientation,” from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 5, in Room MA306O. The orientation session, led by Susan Koenig, director of clinical research, is a repeat of the orientation for people who have been unable to attend previous sessions. Participants will receive a comprehensive orientation manual for their use. To provide enough manuals, registration is requested. December 10 Skills Fair for Nursing Staff 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at University Hospital, Room CE100. The fairs will provide nursing staff an opportunity to brush up and validate skills related to insulin drips, Heparin drips, tracheotomy care, epidural pumps and more. Please allow two to four hours to complete all the stations. Pick up your skills checklist and register for prizes in Room CE100. December 18-19 Books Are Fun Book Fair 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Columbia Regional Hospital's main lobby. Books Are Fun Book Fair is a fund-raiser for the Volunteer Services Organization of Columbia Regional Hospital.
