November 17 through 21 Jeans on Fridays’ Stickers Sale to Benefit United Way University of Missouri Health Care employees may purchase “Jeans on Fridays” stickers in support of the United Way’s Live United Week through Friday, Nov. 21. The stickers cost $20 and benefit the United Way. With “Jeans on Fridays” stickers and approval from supervisors, employees may wear jeans on each Friday through the end of 2008. November 20, 21 and 24 through 26 Ellis Fischel Gift Shop Customer Appreciation Sale Ellis Fischel Cancer Center’s Four Seasons Gift Shop will hold a 5-day customer appreciation sale. During the sale, customers will receive a 30 percent discount on one item and 20 percent discounts on additional items. Some exclusions apply. Additionally, Thanksgiving merchandise is 50 percent off while supplies last. November 24 Town Hall Meetings for Employees Harold Williamson Jr., MD, interim vice chancellor for health sciences, will host town hall meetings for employees on Monday, Nov. 24. Williamson will give a short presentation on the health system’s strategic plan and facilities plan and then open the meeting to questions from employees during a question-and-answer session. All health system faculty and staff at the School of Health Professions, School of Medicine, Sinclair School of Nursing, University Physicians and University of Missouri Health Care are invited to attend.
