Massage therapy for patients and visitors of University of Missouri Health Care

University of Missouri Health Care provides massage therapy services for patients and visitors. The massage office is located in the Fit for Life facility at GL-20 in University Hospital. With physician approval, half-hour massage sessions are available for inpatients in their hospital room.

Half hour session

One hour session

$65.00

One and a half hour session

$85.00

Hours of availability are:

Monday: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Tuesday: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (variable)
Wednesday: 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Thursday: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

Jeff Rioux, LMT, has been in practice for more than six years, the last five years in a hospital providing massages to inpatients, outpatients and staff. Besides Swedish-based relaxation massage, he specializes in orthopedic massage, neuromuscular therapy, therapeutic stretching and sports massage. The modalities Jeff employs are designed to reduce stress and anxiety; bring pain relief or help manage pain; rehabilitate from injury; and improve function, performance and ease of movement.
