Laura is a mother of two and a 4th grade teacher. Today she is seizure free.

Laura wanted help. She didn't want to live in fear of not knowing when a seizure would happen. The medicine helped to control the seizures but she didn't want to be restricted to taking medicine every day.

She sought out the help of Epilepsy specialists at Missouri Neurosciences Center who discovered that her seizures were caused by scar tissue in her brain. It was recommended that she undergo surgery to remove the excess tissue. Laura decided after careful consideration to have the scar tissue removed. Today she is seizure free.
