Tammy Bowne - Patient Success Story 
Because of my gastric bypass surgery, I have been given a second chance at life. I have been obese my entire life and never thought I could enjoy the health and physical appearance I have today. Between March 2005 and November 2005, I have lost 135 pounds. I hope to never again take my health for granted. I enjoy spending time with my family, church activities, exercising and working with our local fair board. My surgical site consisted of 4 small holes that had been stapled and a drain. My pain was minimal. I was a little stiff and sore, but it was very manageable. I started a walking program the first evening I was home from the hospital. I was driving the second week. I recommend this procedure to anyone who wants to drastically change his or her lifestyle and improve his or her health. I am so thankful for Dr. Scott and his team.
