Columbia Regional Hospital to hold celebration honoring Martin Luther King Jr.

Columbia Regional Hospital will celebrate the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. with a ceremony in his memory and honor at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, in the hospital conference center located inside the Health Pavilion at 404 Keene St.

The event will feature a performance by the Hickman High School a cappella choir, followed by a presentation of King’s speeches. Attendees will also receive an informational handout on King’s life and the role he played in the American civil rights movement.

The celebration is open to the public and all those who would like to participate are welcome to join the Columbia Regional Hospital staff in honoring King and his work.
