MU Health Care Celebrates Graduates Of Tomorrow's Health Care Elite

COLUMBIA, Mo. ― University of Missouri Health Care will celebrate the graduation of 10 local high school students from its Tomorrow’s Health Care Elite program at 5:30 p.m. tonight, May 3, at the Upper Crust, 904 Elm St.

Tomorrow’s Health Care Elite is a program developed by MU Health Care to identify, cultivate and motivate future health care leaders. The program achieves this goal by identifying high school student leaders interested in health care careers and educating them on the many health care opportunities and programs available to them, while providing valuable hands-on experience.

“Tonight’s graduation is to celebrate the accomplishments of these students and their future as health care professionals,” said Kym Pieper, a health care recruiter and co-founder of the program at MU Health Care. “Tonight, we will celebrate their journey as they build onto what they’ve learned through our program, grow and diversify the health care community.”

The 12-week program has been offered at MU Health Care since 2005.
