Free 'Tiger Tot Mommies' Group Offers Support, Guidance
COLUMBIA, Mo. — Specialists at MU Women’s and Children’s Hospital are reaching out to all new mothers, offering a program to address their questions and concerns.
Tiger Tot Mommies is a free service open to the public.
The group hosts both daytime and evening meetings to reach as many mothers as possible.
Certified lactation consultants from MU Women’s and Children’s Hospital will attend each meeting to answer questions regarding breastfeeding and offer free baby weight-checks.
Siblings are welcome to attend, and light refreshments will be served.
Tiger Tot Mommies daytime sessions will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. the second Wednesday of every month at South Providence Medical Park, 551 E. Southampton Drive, Columbia.
The Tiger Tot Mommies evening sessions will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. the first Thursday of each month at MU Women’s and Children’s Hospital conference center, 404 North Keene St., Columbia.
