We offer our patients the option of setting up a payment plan, and you may have up to 15 months to pay outstanding balances, interest-free. Because University of Missouri Health Care and University Physicians charges are billed separately, we are not able to combine payment plans for patients or additional family members. You will be required to make separate arrangements for both accounts.

University of Missouri Health Care and University Physicians offer our patients with no insurance coverage (uninsured) discounts on their billed charges.
If you are uninsured, you will automatically receive a discount of 60 percent from your total University Hospital charges. For your University Physicians billing statement, you will receive an automatic discount of 25% and a prompt pay discount of an additional 20% if you pay your University Physicians bill in full within 30 days of your first statement.

If you have health insurance, no additional discount is offered. Many insurance companies with which we are contracted have negotiated discounts applied to the charges.
The University Physicians charges for copayment, deductibles and co-insurance are not eligible for financial assistance.
Charges which are elective or considered part of a package procedure are not eligible for discounts. These charges are already discounted at what is considered a package price for both the facility and physician charges.
