Nutrition and exercise play an important role in your health, which is why University of Missouri Health Care's Nutrition Program is a service available to all patients within and outside of the MU Health Care. Registered dietitians are on staff to provide nutrition counseling, or medical nutrition therapy (MNT), for a variety of health conditions including, but not limited to, diabetes, renal disease, overweight and obesity, common gastrointestinal disorders and disorders of lipid metabolism.
The goal of our dietitians is to work with you to develop a customized plan to help you learn to prevent disease progression and manage your health through diet and exercise. They work with you to develop a custom plan to help you become as healthy as possible.
