Ambulance Service
The City of Columbia and Boone County are unique and challenging environments for experienced pre-hospital care providers. University of Missouri Health Care EMS personnel respond to the challenges of a diverse patient population. Our community features a growing geriatric population, the crossroads of two major thoroughfares and a large student population spread across three college campuses.
University of Missouri Health Care's ambulance service is the exclusive provider for all concerts and other events in Mizzou Sports Arena and Faurot Field, including all MU football games. The ambulance service is based at University Hospital, the only Level I Trauma Center in mid-Missouri.
Providing ALS level prehospital care for almost 40 years, the ambulance service has a long history and tradition of excellence, and is dedicated to delivering the best care available in the pre-hospital environment.
