Missouri Rehabilitation Center Map
Location Mt. Vernon, Mo., home of MRC, has a population of almost 4,000 residents and is located along Interstate 44 in southwest Missouri. Mt. Vernon is 30 miles from Springfield and Joplin, Mo. It lies at the start of the Ozark Mountain Parkway - scenic Route 265 leading to the Branson and Table Rock Lake tourist areas. It is also a popular stopover for travelers on their way to the Precious Moments Chapel and Roaring River State Park.
Take I-44 West to Highway 174 (Exit #49) (approx. 32 miles from Springfield) Go west on Hwy. 174 to Business 39/Hwy. Y(approx. 3 miles after exiting I-44.) Turn left onto Business 39/Hwy Y. Missouri Rehabilitation Center's property begins on your right after turning onto Bus. 39/Hwy. Y. The main entranceway is approx. 1/2 block. Upon entering the main entrance the road forms a 'Y'. Stay to your left. The main entrance is the red-brick building with pillars. (There is a circle drive and fountain in front.) Visitor's Parking is directly across from the main entrance. Directions to MRC from Joplin, Mo.: Take I-44 East to Highway 39 (Exit 44) (approx. 43 miles from Joplin.) Turn Left onto Highway 39 and come into town. Stay on Highway 39 (it goes North along the west edge of town) until you reach Highway 174. Turn Right onto Highway 174 and go to Business 39/Hwy. Y (approx. 1 mile.) Turn Right onto Bus. 39/Hwy. Y. Missouri Rehabilitation Center's property begins on your right after turning onto Bus. 39.
The main entranceway is approx. 1/2 block.
