Wishing Well Gift Shop at Columbia Regional Hospital

The Wishing Well Gift Shop is located in the hospital's main lobby. It is operated by the volunteers of the Volunteer Service Organization (VSO), Inc. of Columbia Regional Hospital. Merchandise such as cards, flowers,magazines, candles, candy, personal items, and gifts may be purchased. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday. The volunteers will be happy to deliver merchandise to patient rooms by dialing (573) 875-9217. Food items such as gum and candy will not be delivered without approval from nursing staff. The gift shop was opened by the Volunteer Service Organization (VSO), Inc. of Columbia Regional Hospital on April 3, 1976. Mary McElroy, Gift Shop Chairman at the time, started the gift shop and it was a unanimous decision by the VSO Board of Directors to name the shop “The Wishing Well”. The gift shop has been a wonderful part of the culture of Columbia Regional Hospital since that time. Our gift shop is staffed primarily of volunteers from the VSO. All profits from the gift shop benefit patient programs through the VSO. Our volunteers know that a simple gift can brighten a patient’s day and that is why they are available to help you select the right gift for your loved one. You can shop online! Tiger Garden products available at CRH gift shop Tiger Garden, MU’s full-service floral shop, will provide floral arrangements and plants for sale beginning Monday, April 16. Tiger Garden is operated by students in MU’s College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. It combines traditional textbook learning with hands-on, entrepreneurial experience.
