Medications All medications you take while you are in the hospital are prescribed by your physician, dispensed by the hospital pharmacy and administered by a nurse. Patients are not permitted to administer their own drugs or keep personal medications at their bedsides unless under written order of the prescriber. Please notify your nurse if you have such medications or send them home with your family.
