Visiting Hours and Policies
Columbia Regional Hospital has liberal visiting hours to accommodate patients' family and friends. Please check with your nurse to determine the best arrangements for your particular situation.
Following are general guidelines we ask visitors to follow:
- In consideration of roommates, only two visitors are permitted to visit a patient at one time in a semi-private (two bed) room. Visits should be kept short and visitors should maintain a quiet environment and avoid unnecessary noise.
- People with colds, sore throats or any contagious diseases should not visit patients.
- Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
- Visitors are asked not to sit on patient beds or on empty beds.
- Visitors are asked not to bring food or candy to the patient without permission from the patients' nurse or physician.
- Visitors are asked not to use the patient's restroom. Public restrooms are located near each lobby.
- Visitors must dress appropriately and must wear shirts and shoes.
