Main Street Catering Helpful Hints

As soon as you know you will be using Main Street Catering, call us at 882-9019 to reserve our services for your event. All reservations must be submitted to Main Street Catering within 3 working days from the day of the reservation or it will be canceled. You can reserve up to one year in advance. Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. If someone is not in the office, Nutrition & Food Services clerical staff will take a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Place and confirm your room reservations that the function is to be held in. Allow extra pre and post function time for set-up and clean up.

If necessary, make arrangements for tables and chairs to be delivered. For University Hospital and Clinics use Supply Distribution, for Campus Departments contact Campus Facilities.

Confirm the number of guests that will be attending.

Decide on the formality of the event. Will you use china, scrollwear or paper products? Will the event be served buffet style, pre-plated or sit down service?

Call 882-9019 to place your order.

When you receive your contract, obtain the authorized signatures and send to Main Street Catering.

After the order has been placed, be alert to any changes and notify us as soon as possible so the proper adjustments can be made.
