Missouri Occupational Injury Center, Missouri Spine Center to open August 14
A grand opening celebration for the Missouri Occupational Injury Center and the Missouri Spine Center is planned from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, in the Health Pavilion at Columbia Regional Hospital, 402 Keene St. The public is invited to meet the physicians and staff, tour the clinics and enjoy refreshments.
The Missouri Spine Center offers a multidisciplinary approach to back and neck care. Orthopaedic surgeons Theodore Choma, M.D., Joel Jeffries, M.D., and Craig Kuhns M.D., along with Diane Mueller, R.N., nurse practitioner, offer comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care by working with other specialists such as neuroradiologists, neurologists and physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists. The Missouri Occupational Injury Center offers comprehensive workers’ compensation care for musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries. Its physicians and staff can see patients the day of their injury. The team maintains open communication with patients, insurance adjusters, case managers and employers to help patients recover and return to work quickly.
