June 2 School at Work recognition and ECHO graduation This graduation ceremony on June 2, from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., at the Columbia Regional Conference Center, Rooms 1-6, will recognize the accomplishments of the 2007 School at Work class and 2008 ECHO class. Both attended 4-8 months of training in various topics related to health care. June 21 Ellis Fischel to celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day Ellis Fischel Cancer Center will celebrate the lives of local cancer survivors during National Cancer Survivors Day from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 21, on the front lawn of the facility at 115 Business Loop 70 West in Columbia, Mo. Activities planned include a barbeque, live music, hot air balloon rides, games and information on survivorship topics. The activities are free for all cancer survivors and their families. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling (573) 884-1509.
