Military members to be recognized at receptions
University of Missouri Health Care will hold receptions to recognize Service Excellence Hero award winners and employees who are members of the U.S. military at noon today, July 10, in University Hospital’s main lobby and at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 17, in Columbia Regional Hospital’s 404 Diner.
Ted Groshong, M.D., a pediatric nephrologist at University of Missouri Health Care, associate professor emeritus and chair of child health at the MU School of Medicine, and a former member of the U.S. Navy, will be the keynote speaker for the Service Excellence Hero reception at University Hospital.
A letter from Raymond Foster, M.D., an obstetrics and gynecology physician and member of the U.S. Army, will be read at the Columbia Regional Hospital Reception. Foster is currently serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq.
