Michelle Gibler, PhD

| Michelle earned her master's degree
in health and safety education from the University of Illinois-Champaign
in 1982. She received her bachelor's of science degree in
health and physical education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale
in 1981. In 2004, Michelle completed
a doctoral program in health education and promotion at the
University of Missouri-Columbia. Michelle has been the Director
of Think First Missouri since 1989 and served as the program's
Health Educator for one year prior to that. Since 1991, she
has acted as the Director of the Injury Prevention Division
in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Michelle also serves as State Chapter Director for the Think
First programs of Missouri and has participated in numerous
state and national task forces and committees. As a board
member and consultant for Think First National Injury Prevention
Foundation, Michelle provides comprehensive program training
to new Think First chapter directors across the nation and
internationally. |
