Story Summary

Born February 2, 2019, at just 25 weeks, Joy Day was a micro preemie. A baby is considered full term at 40 weeks. Joy weighed 2 pounds, 1 ounce, and her lungs had not properly developed.

Now, after spending 268 days at MU Health Care’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Joy Day will get to celebrate her first Thanksgiving at home.
