We value our employees' health, time and personal lives. That's why we offer a complete benefits package — including health insurance, paid vacation accrual, sick leave accrual, personal days and retirement options — day one.
Switching jobs can be stressful enough without having to worry about gaps in insurance coverage. MU Health Care employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week are eligible for health, dental and vision insurance coverage on their first day of employment. We offer multiple plan options including our signature Custom Network Plan, which offers family premiums as low as $399 a month.

Vacation and Paid Sick Leave
We want our employees to thrive in and outside of the workplace with a healthy work-life balance. That's why in addition to traditional paid holidays, we offer a robust vacation, sick and personal leave package. Employees start accruing vacation and sick leave day one, with sick leave available after the first month and vacation available after a six-month probation period.
- Paid Holidays: New Years, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas
- Personal Days: Each employee receives four personal days a year to use however they see fit
- Vacation: Hourly employees who are benefit eligible (30+ hours a week) accrue 12 vacation days a year for their first five years of employment, while salary employees accrue 17 vacation days.
- Sick Leave: Each employee accrues 12 sick days a year, which can be used for personal illnesses as well as taking care of dependents and immediate family members.
