Inpatient Reporting Change
Effective Aug. 6, 2021, we updated the method used to report the number of inpatients with COVID-19 to more accurately reflect the demand on our health system because of patients admitted with COVID-19.
Prior to Aug. 6, 2021, we only reported the number of inpatients with active COVID-19 infections. On Aug. 6, 2021, we updated the data to include patients with active COVID-19 infections plus those patients who no longer have active COVID-19 but remain in our hospitals for care.
