As a graduate nurse at MU Health Care, you will be integrated into our accredited Nursing Residency Program — an innovative group program that allows nurses to experience orientation in conjunction with the training and orientation provided on your home unit.

This program is a structured system in which we reward our front-line nurses for their dedication to highest standards of care and their pursuit of personal and professional development. Our clinical ladder is seamlessly integrated with our Nursing Professional Practice Model, encouraging nurses to advance their skills while contributing to the exceptional level of care offered at MU Health Care. Each level of the ladder has clear criteria to meet and rewards nurses with 2% to 5% of their total hours worked, depending on the level achieved.
