In order to get our community vaccinated as quickly and efficiently as possible, MU Health Care, Boone Health and Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) are coordinating their COVID-19 vaccine efforts.

This week, all three organizations expect to receive vaccine.

  • MU Health Care is scheduled to receive 4,000 doses of Moderna vaccine and will have vaccination events Friday, Feb. 19, and Sunday, Feb. 21, at the Faurot Field vaccination site. A limited number of invitations for these events were sent out last week, and we will be sending more invitations early this week.
  • Boone Health is scheduled to receive an allotment of vaccine that it will begin providing on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at a vaccination event in the Columbia Mall. Invitations will be emailed early this week.
  • Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services is scheduled to receive 200 doses and will be sending appointment invitations early this week. They will be administering vaccines at the health department building, 1005 W. Worley St. in Columbia.

Please note: All of our vaccination events are by appointment only; we cannot accommodate walk-ups.

Unified Survey

MU Health Care, Boone Health and Columbia/Boone County PHHS have combined surveys to create a unified, streamlined process.

Anyone who would like to get the COVID-19 vaccine should sign up at muhealth.org/covid19-vaccine-survey. If you need assistance with filling out the survey, please call 573-771-CARE (2273).

By signing up on the survey, you will receive updates on vaccine supply, vaccination opportunities and other news related to COVID-19 vaccination. If you already signed up through the Columbia/Boone County PHHS survey or the MU Health Care survey, you do not need to take any further action at this time. We’ve got you!

Appointment Invitations

MU Health Care, Columbia/Boone County PHHS and Boone Health will send separate invites for their respective vaccination events. This means you might be contacted by any of our three organizations.

Invitations for events at the Faurot Field vaccination site will be sent through a scheduling system called TimeTap. If you receive this invitation, it will come from noreply@timetap.com.

Invitations for Columbia/Boone County PHHS will come from covidvaccine@como.gov.

Note: The unified survey currently includes more than 29,000 people (and counting) who are eligible for vaccination in Phase 1A, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 of Phase 1B.

It’s important to note that even if you fall into an eligible category, you may not be notified with an appointment spot right away. The number of appointment spots we're able to offer depends on our supply of vaccine. Please don’t worry! You are still in the system, and you will be contacted when a dose is available for you.

MU Health Care, Columbia/Boone County PHHS and Boone Health are committed to treating all people who want the vaccine equally.

Opt Out

If you have received a vaccine from a different vaccinator or no longer are interested in being on the survey, you can let us know by opting out of the survey at muhealth.org/covid19-vaccine-opt-out.
