Health Network of Missouri
The five members of the Health Network of Missouri have more than 1,000 hospital beds, more than 10,700 employees and approximately 1,200 employed and affiliated physicians. Network health systems work together to improve access and better coordinate health care for patients in counties throughout central, northeast and southeastern Missouri. The network includes Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Hannibal Regional Healthcare System, Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, and University of Missouri Health Care.
Rusk Rehabilitation Hospital
Rusk Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture of Encompass Health and MU Health Care, is a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives. The hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled, independent private practice physicians and HealthSouth therapists and nurses. In addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnosis such as pulmonary, spinal cord injury, orthopedics, brain injury and cardiac, Rusk Rehabilitation Hospital has specialized inpatient programs for stroke and amputation. Outpatient services at Rusk are operated by University of Missouri Therapy Services. Rusk serves patients throughout Missouri and is located at 315 Business Loop 70 West in Columbia.
