Capital Region Medical Center
Capital Region Medical Center, located in Jefferson City, is an affiliate hospital of University of Missouri Health Care, and encompasses a full service hospital, a comprehensive cancer program at Goldschmidt Cancer Center, and an expansive clinic system covering eight counties. Within the hospital, the Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is one of the few accredited hospital-based rehabilitation centers in the state. Capital Region’s fitness facility, the Sam B. Cook Healthplex, is the community’s only hospital-based, medically directed fitness facility and is home to adult and pediatric outpatient therapy services. From prenatal and obstetric care to orthopaedic and cardiovascular services, Capital Region provides innovative health care, advancing its mission to improve the health and wellness of the people and communities it serves.
Columbia Family Medical Group
Columbia Family Medical Group is an eight-provider group comprised of six board-certified and board-eligible physicians, one advanced nurse practitioner and one physician assistant, along with 32 other health professionals, support and administrative staff. Columbia Family Medical Group has provided primary care in central Missouri for more than 40 years. Columbia Family Medical Group physicians and staff serve patients at 303 N. Keene St., Suite 301, in Columbia.
Columbia Surgical Associates
Columbia Surgical Associates is comprised of 10 surgeons specializing in general, bariatric, vascular, colorectal and breast cancer surgery, along with 35 other health professionals, support and administrative staff. Columbia Surgical Associates has provided surgical care in central Missouri for more than 50 years. Its founder, E.J. “Jack” Schewe Jr., MD, completed his surgical training at Ellis Fischel State Cancer Hospital and served as chief surgeon at Ellis from 1956-61. Columbia Surgical Associates physicians and staff will continue to serve patients at 3220 Bluff Creek Drive in Columbia.
Fulton Family Health Associates
Fulton Family Health Associates will join University of Missouri Health Care, effective Dec. 7, 2017. Fulton Family Health Associates includes three physicians as well as a physician assistant and 13 other health professionals, support and administrative staff. Fulton Family Health Associates has provided primary care in central Missouri for 28 years. Fulton Family Health Associates physicians and staff will continue to serve patients at 2613 Fairway Drive in Fulton.
Health Network of Missouri
The six members of the Health Network of Missouri have more than 1,000 hospital beds, more than 10,700 employees and approximately 1,200 employed and affiliated physicians. Network health systems work together to improve access and better coordinate health care for patients in counties throughout central, northeast and southeastern Missouri. The network includes Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Hannibal Regional Healthcare System, Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Saint Francis Healthcare SYstem in Cape Girardeau, and University of Missouri Health Care.
MPact Health is a Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) comprising of 3,000 physicians, 48 hospitals and 2.8 million unique patients working together to improve quality and clinical integration. The CIN is structured to allow physicians and hospitals to work together on clinical integration, quality improvement, and contracting while preserving their independence and unique identity. The CIN is physician-led and professionally managed in a way to promote best practices in clinical and operational disciplines. The CIN is unique in its organization through regions or “Chapters” where physicians leverage the best available technology to lead quality improvement and innovation in each geographic market.
Rusk Rehabilitation Center
Rusk Rehabilitation Center is a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives. The hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled, independent private practice physicians and HealthSouth therapists and nurses. In addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnosis such as pulmonary, spinal cord injury, orthopedics, brain injury and cardiac, Rusk Rehabilitation Center has specialized inpatient programs for stroke and amputation. Outpatient services at Rusk are operated by University of Missouri Therapy Services. Rusk serves patients throughout Missouri and is located at 315 Business Loop 70 West in Columbia.
