Candy Lincoln, MD, is a board-certified family medicine doctor with a decade of experience in primary care. She offers specialty care for breastfeeding and lactation, perinatal mental health and gender-diverse people. Dr. Lincoln is certified by the North American Board of Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

Her passion is helping first-time parents with breastfeeding issues and offering support and education on navigating postpartum life. Breastfeeding and lactation medicine is a small but rapidly growing field, and Dr. Lincoln is proud to offer these services to families in mid-Missouri.

Dr. Lincoln’s hobbies include knitting, gardening, beading, listening to music and considering which musical instrument to learn.

Research Profile

Candy Lincoln, MD, NABBLM-C, IBCLC, is a family medicine physician and researcher who is interested in expanding the field of breastfeeding and lactation medicine through research, clinical practice and medical education. Through compassionate care and research, she supports first-time parents facing breastfeeding, lactation and post-partum challenges. Dr. Lincoln’s work is supported by fellow caregivers including primary care physicians, lactation consultants, perinatal mental health counselors and speech therapists.
