About
James Buechter, AuD, is an audiologist who offers treatments for people who have difficulty hearing, including cochlear implants, hearing aids, auditory brainstorm response testing and assistive listening technologies.
James chose to become an audiologist because he enjoys making a tangible difference in his patients’ lives by fostering better communication skills and fitting assistive technologies. As a researcher, he is interested in improving cochlear implants, studying music enjoyment outcomes in people who are hard of hearing and how assistive listening technologies help patients across communication modalities.
